First Hole

This medium length hole requires a slight left to right drive. Your second shot needs to be placed to the right in order to avoid a fairway bunker and water on the left side of the fairway. Your approach shot is protected by 2 bunkers in front of the green.

I try to take the tee ball over the corner of the bunker with a slight cut. A solid drive will give me a chance to get home in two with the 3 wood. If I miss the green, I just need an up and down for birdie to start the round.
